I was cleaning my room yesterday when I came across my Primary 6 yearbook. I started to read it again.
While I was flipping through the pages, I remember I was asking this teacher to sign the yearbook for me, as it was the last day of school for me. I can't remember who she is, as she had just joined the school.
I remembered her telling me that I shouldn't be sad that I'm going to be seperated from my friends, and that I shouldn't be sad that I'm going to leave this school because secondary school is going to be a lot more fun. I remembered her saying that once you enter secondary school, you would probably how primary school life was like because secondary is so much more interesting.
Sadly teacher, you're wrong. Really wrong.
I realise how much I wish I could go back to those primary school days. My secondary school life had been great, really, I had many true friends, but the experiences of a primary student are still the best. After all, I had spend 6 years there, though the best was pri.6
All of a sudden, I was wondering, how would it feel if one day,
You're never going to wear that uniform you have been wearing for 10 years.
You're never going to say prayer at the beginning of the day (well, for me).
You're never going to see that school motto ever again.
You're never going to see that school mission ever again.
You're never going to say, "I'm in CHIJ".
